How has been your relationship with your tribe lately? Is it OK or are you the piano in the desert?
We have a built-in contradiction
– We get our understanding of the world from others (We guess brushing your teeth isn’t an original idea of yours)
– We need other people in order to survive (If not who else grew that carrot in your fridge?)
But
– We get really anxious about what others think about us. Some people think it’s because to our ancestors it was a life or death situation, if you hadn’t had the tribe’s approval you would’ve been out in the cold and die.
It’s a contradiction that we need to sort out because, in the end, we thrive around people.
Remember to turn down your fears and surround yourself with great people (you know, your tribe).
